Last summer, we heard Whiplash star Miles Teller was looking to reteam with director Damien Chazelle for a Los Angeles set musical La La Land. At the time, Harry Potter franchise star Emma Watson was also in talks for the female lead, but they’ve both fallen away. Deadline is now reporting that Crazy Stupid Love and Gangster Squad co-stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are circling the film about an aspiring actress named Mia, who’s lonely desperate to fit in, and a cocky yet charismatic jazz pianist named Sebastian, who fall in love in Los Angeles.
