IMAX and Disney Strike Deal Through 2017 for 'Star Wars' & More

Last spring, Disney and IMAX had struck a new deal that including partnering on then forthcoming films like Maleficent and Guardians of the Galaxy, and yet to be released films such as Tomorrowland and Star Wars: Episode VII. Now the House of Mouse and the big big screen company have renewed their deal to last through 2017, and the roster of films included in the deal shouldn’t be surprising to anyone. Unsurprisingly, it includes Star Wars: Rogue One and Star Wars: Episode VIII, and Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Thor: Ragnarok.
