We are killing people.” After a couple trailers for the international release of Andrew Niccol‘s timely drone thriller Good Kill surfaced a couple months ago, the film has finally locked down a summer release date in May. And with that comes the first US trailer for the film, showing a little more of the struggle Ethan Hawke has as a fighter pilot forced to adapt to technology and become a drone pilot. But being detached from the war physically doesn’t mean there’s no psychological torture for the killing these pilots do from a control room. This looks like a timely but straightforward drama.
