Hollywood just loves developing multiple versions of the same story about a certain figure at the exact same time, and right now the hot commodity is the heroic Robin Hood. Disney has a project in development called Nottingham & Hood from a spec script by Brandon Barker that is supposed to have the same tone and franchise hopes and Pirates of the Caribbean. Meanwhile, Sony Pictures picked up a Robin Hood pitch with multiple stories to make up a Sherwood Forest cinematic universe. Now Deadline reports Guy Ritchie’s Knights of the Roundtable scribe Joby Harold is entering the mix with the gritty Robin Hood: Origins. ›››
