It looks like the detective who is on duty to please that booty will be heading to be big screen yet again. The Wrap reports that New Line has picked up the rights to Shaft and is now developing a feature film reboot of the iconic black detective with prdocuer John Davis and Davis Entertainment on board. Shaft has a long history on the big screen with the original film hitting theaters in 1971 with Richard Roundtree originating the iconic role. Then back in 2000 it was Samuel L. Jackson inherited the role in the film directed by John Singleton at Paramount Pictures, and you may not remember but Christian Bale starred in that version. ›››
