The video game adaptation Assassin’s Creed was already going to mark a reunion for Michael Fassbender with director Justin Kurzel after working on their Shakespeare adaptation Macbeth. And now that reunion has added another member as Deadline reports the New Regency and Ubisoft project has just landed Marion Cotillard in a pivotal but unknown role in the period action adventure. Cotillard starred alongside Fassbender in Macbeth, and while we haven’t seen the film yet (there’s first look photos here), they must have turned in good work for Kurzel to get them back for something completely different. ›››
