The retro community has seen a lot of wonderful things come out of Kickstarter from hardware to games to comprahensive books detailing the history of our favorite console. Now, it looks like we’re about to get something a little diffirent, a bi-monthly digital magazine dedicated to Sega that is much a love leter to the gameing mags of the 90’s as it is the famous developer.
The brain child of the team behind the wonderful SEGA Nerds website, Mega Visions has ben designed from the ground up to work spercifically on tablets and phones and introduces some really cool features that haven’t been seen previously in e-mags. This won’t be a simple PDF magazine but rather a truly interactive experiance.
The magazine will contain all you would expect from such a publication; reviews, retrospectives, cover stories, mail bag, and of course interviews. The Mega Visions team has already secured some big names from Sega’s past to take part in the project, such as Tom Kalinske and Al Nilsen as well as Blake Harris, author of Console Wars.
Aiming for a goal of $13,000 the project has already his the half way mark. Rewards range from the first issue to a year’s subscription to having your own article appear in the magazine. With 13 days to go until the end of the Kickstarter, now is the perfect time to head on over to the Mega Visions page and show your support.
