I own street sk8er and I can't stop playing it. It is extremely unrealistic which makes it so phat (one min. your completely stopped, you ollie onto a rail, curb etc. and get sucked to one direction like a vacuum (laws of gravity still apply)otherwise I wouldn't be any fun. There are 4 secret charactors(bonobo,saho,mick and sarah) and 4 original ones. In street tour mode you can add atributes at the end of each level to boost up your charactoer's ability. This game is cool. I am a sk8er my self so I know what I am talking about (i'm also a snowboarder, try coolboarders3:)). peace ut yalls. |

It also sucks that they would put a stupid blader in the game. Two suggestions to EA, make a sequel and make it so you can do more tricks at one time and person, and put better music like Korn or Limp Bizkit. |

But when I played it, it was good, then I played it again and it was okay, and once more I played it, and it was boring. I don't know where they went wrong with this one, either it was the move ease (which I hope next time, you can actually do more moves than one at a time) or was it the pace of the game. As a computer game programmer, I know when I see a good game, and believe me when I say this, this is a good game, just not worthy of an videogame oscar. |

Thursday, April 22, 1999 at 13:37:57 Being the first skateboarding game on the psx I thought it was a good start, but it needs improvement, Lets start with the moves, they are fun to watch but I'd rather watch tricks that are really possible none of this 1080 triple backflip handstand crap on a little half pipe. Second you need to be able to do tricks while just skating, I don't mean serious shit but maybe a kickflip or something along those lines. Third I think you all know as well as I do that there werent enough levels, there were only 3 real levels and 3 30 second bonus levels, the replay value would be alot better if there was 8 or so full featured levels. And last the vs mode needs to be vs. rather than taking turns, U should be able to go at the same time, because the street sk8er vs mode was lame one person waiting while the other goes through then the second person goes while the first person waits, u could get the same efect from just switching off on free skate mode. Though there are many flaws I still think street sk8er was a fun game, and I hope they consider the flaws when/if they make a sequel. |

mirish99@hotmail.com Street sk8er was an okay game, everyone can make excuses that it's only the first skateboarding game for the psx but I honestly think that electronic arts could have done so much better that 4 moves for each character, and the freedom of movement sucked, you could only do a kickflip if you launched off some giant ramp at 50mph. The sequal needs to be way more technical and not be so much like a race. It was okay but the replay value sucked. Way too easy. It's a great idea but skaters and kids aren't stupid and need some challenge. don't under estimate us next time. |

Marky654@aol.com Street Sk8er is a great game. As a sk8boarder I found it very realistic. Street Sk8er combines all the elements of sound, sight, and realism. In the game there are tons of cool tricks you can preform, including grinding. Players can choose 3 different modes: Freeskate- in which players are allowed to practice as much as they want without a time limit; Tour- the real game, players are asked to break a point total in order to proceed to the next round; and V.S.-where players can challenge a friend. When traveling through the game players will unlock hidden characters, boards, and much more. This game has a very good replay value, even after I beat it I couldn't put Street Sk8er down. |

coolibop@usa.com Street Sk8ters is great game. You can do tricks with ease. The courses are real fun to explode tricks off half pipes, quarter pipes and do railgrinds on railings and planters. You can earn secret players and new boards on the game also. The game also has an add on feature that makes this game really special. It will play music that makes you feel like you're skating at one of Mtv's sports and music festiville. Including songs from groups like Less than Jake and Pietasters. This game is must for skateboarders. You can unlock two human sk8boarders, one monkey skateboarder, and oneninja rollerblader. It was a ninja b/c sk8boarders hate rollerbladers and only a ninja could live in a sk8boarding game. You can also unlock 20 extra boards. |
