--------------------------------------------------------------------------- These are mainly for those who are in the Eternal Corridor. Tip 1 When merging minions, in order to get a high HP, you must have a captured minion with a TOTAL HP Ex. 100/250 above 50% of your other minion's HP. * Thats how I got my minions at HP 999 (Max. HP). I recommend Spiral and its elemental cousins. DRAWBACK: You lose mana with this minion. Don't get me started on high mana or magic. Merge them only in the begining of the Quest mode. They always have sorry attacks. Aim for high attack, defence, and speed. Tip 2 Never let a minion get behind you! Especially the wasp-type minions. If one is in your way, go ahead and fight it. If you try to get passed it, it will get you because it has quick reflexes and it is faster than you.(running) Tip 3 To get your minions to really high levels. Just get through as many corridors as you can. I have got to Corridor 32 without cheats in about 3-4 hours. This a really good spot to capture minions because they are Level 26. I have got my Capture Level at 30 this way and 3/4 of my minions to Level 31 (The Kikinak Glitch doesn't work for me. With this C-level you can capture level 20's 90%of the time without hurting them. This is the best way for those whodon't have a Gameshark to make alot of dough. I am trying to get the Icicle and have got a little more than 800,000 in about a week and a half.On an average you can get 10-12 minions,leave the forest,get them purified, spin them, and sell them in less than 15 min. Tip 4 (at its lowest HP) You can beat (as far as I know and I have tried) the Fire-Miniboss in Corridor 8 with a minion. The best way to kill it is with the Thunderbolt. Tip 5 Keep you minion at a high level (possibly 27 and up) and keep its mana at 80 and up (after a battle your mana goes up 1/4 of its current max). HP is the same. You can use a Special with a modifier(except foot) on a level 20 and 21 once and one attack to kill. Battle ends, full mana. Always use the stronger elemental. I am currently in the eternal corridor and trying to capture all the monsters. (You can see what you've captured by pressing CIRCLE and then SQUARE in the forests). So far I have captured about 80 monsters. It's too bad you can't get some of the special attacks the bosses have....that would be sweet. Anyway.....does anybody know how many corridors there are? --------------------------------------------------------------------------- To get an extremely powerful minion capture a Skawasp and a Terrfrayd or a Marrdreg. Merge them with the Skawasp as the base. Your minion will has armor for skin and is harder to beat then a regular Marrdreg. It will know either Wind Attack {w/marrdreg} or A ground attack Maltis and a Fire Magic attack {Terrfrayd}. I recommend a Mardreg for extra Armor and A Terrfrayd for power. I called my minion a Skadreg {Marrdreg} and a Skafrayd {Terrfrayd}. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jade Cocoon is an awesome game. I can think of three words that describe it: Pokemon gone brutal (Or: pokemon rated teen). Instead of the cheesy cute crap, your minons actually look cool and it's fun to expieriment with merging. I myself created "Tri-Venom," a powerful mix of insects, patalchus and worm like guys. It has three special attacks including a deadly poison, and has many powerful Air, Water and Fire magics. Another sweet thing in the game, you don't want to fight with minions, you don't have to. You can play as your main character, whipping butt with a sword, catching minions and turning them into valuable silk. (Note: a downside is that you don't get exp. from killing your foes with your main character.) Anyway, on an overall scale of 10, it's a 9.5 as an excellent RPG. (The .5 was lost in the pain it is to learn how to move your guy.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

of Mugwort Herbs
After you meet Koris for the first time in the Beetle forest, when he says he will train you, select "Attacks and Defense" and start training. He will give you a Mugwort herb. During the battle, on the first, second, or third turn ignore what Koris tells you to do and select a different command (except item) and he will tell you that you must obey. The fight will end and you will have an extra Mugwort Herb! You can repeat this until you have as many herbs as you like. Unfortunately, the item maximum is 20. |
